Leica C-LUX 2

The new Leica C-LUX 2 is the equivalent of Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FX30 digital camera, a compact seven megapixel model with image stabilized 3.6x optical zoom lens. Changes between the two models are mostly in terms of the product bundle, where Leica's variant ships with a 64MB Secure Digital card while Panasonic does not include a card, and Leica includes Adobe's Photoshop Elements 5.0 software in place of the ArcSoft bundle provided by Panasonic. The camera body is essentially identical other than product logos, and the absence of the oval trim piece on the front of the Panasonic which serves to provide a grip for your fingers.

As with the DMC-FX30, the C-LUX 2 lens is branded as a Leica DC Vario-Elmarit, and offers a useful 28mm wide angle to 100mm telephoto. There's no optical viewfinder, with a large 2.5" 207k pixel LCD display being provided as the sole method of framing and reviewing images instead. ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 1600, with the ability to extend to a maximum of ISO 3200 in high sensitivity mode. Other features include an 848x480 movie mode (plus a choice of lower resolutions), SD / MMC card storage with SDHC compatibility, Lithium Ion battery, and a generous selection of scene modes.

Nokia 5310

The Nokia 5310 is an XpressMusic mobile phone, released in the fourth quarter of 2007. It is less than a centimeter thick and is available with blue, red, purple, orange, or black trim. It features many music specific features as well as a 2 Megapixel camera.

XpressMusic is Nokia's take on the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones. The phone supports a 2" inch screen. The phone has a 3.5 mm AV jack situated on its top meaning standard headphones can be plugged in without the need for a 3.5 - 2.5 mm adaptor. It has three buttons on the side for use with the music player application, they are play/pause, skip forward and skip backwards. The phone supports MP3, MP4, AAC, HE-AAC (v1 & v2) and WMA file types, and also has a stereo FM radio.
